
Pear Martini
Sometimes your brain’s a mess. Sometimes it’s brilliant. Either way, a Pear Martini helps. This was the drink of choice for Manic Joy episode 130 — light, crisp, and just fancy enough to make us feel like we had our lives together for an hour.

Ingredients
2 oz pear vodka (or vodka + 0.5 oz pear nectar)
0.75 oz St-Germain (elderflower liqueur)
0.75 oz fresh lemon juice
0.5 oz simple syrup
Optional: tiny pinch of salt
Garnish: pear slice or lemon twist

Directions
Shake all ingredients with ice.
Double strain into a chilled coupe or martini glass.
Garnish with a pear slice.
Sip, smile, repeat.
